The hardest hike I’ve ever done IMO. I don’t think I will do this hike again. Very steep switchbacks with loose rocks and scree on Cadillac Canyon and Joplin, strong poles a must. The swarm of bugs follow you everywhere. Rattlesnakes and a bear sighting. A forest of poison oaks to watch out for. The last 3 miles of the hike offers no shade at all, open air hiking under 100 degree. Not a fun one but glad I did it.
