Challenging hike due to heat! We hiked the hottest day of heat advisory cuz that’s the day we had Urgg. So we got to it slow slog but when the piranha biting flys started that used the game! If you stopped you were their meal ???? super aggressive bug spray had no affect. Had my head net so glad as only thing that worked. Needless to say went home ordered big suit jacket and pants . I will be section hiking in July PCT Oregon and Washington bug central I’m told that time of year…. ready! As far as the top, beautiful views, breeze, and nice picnic table to take a nape!????????
