Snowfields to cross – could be difficult

This hike killed me! Started at 2:30 am and made it to Long Valley at 12:30 pm. Rested a bit then submitted through snow at 3:05 pm. At the summit, you could see Whitney, Joshua Tree, Gorgonio, Salton Sea, Coachella Valley, etc. John Muir said this was the best summit in the world and I'm inclined to agree! Made it back down to the car at 11:30 pm.
