Great hike, Highly recommend. A little crowed when we got to the saddle we took a break just like everyone else. I counted thirty people at the saddle and more coming.

Get there early, we got there at 6:00 AM and the parking lot was already full. We had to park down the street. Had a long hike to get to our hike. Should count as I think.

You start off by walking along a creek, So beautiful and calm. It quickly turns into a up hill hike. At the saddle I was told it is easy to make the wrong turn. It seemed to me it would be very hard to make the wrong turn, every trail is very well marked and there is a map there. Only saw three types of flowers. Trail was in great condition except for a few spots. We did not go into the mine. There are spots that are very rocky and spots that are very slippery, Poles are a must.
