I did the 3-2-1 Challenge hike with the Mountain Humpers hiking group on June 2nd 2019.  This challenge is hike up to 3 Peaks (Mt. Pinos-8848 feet; Sawmill-8818 feet; and Grouse-8583 feet) in 2 Counties  (Ventura County and Kern County) in 1 day.

I started off from Nordic Base and hiked up to Mt. Pinos.  There are small traces of snow and ice sleets on thr trail but it did not create any difficulty to hike.  I saw tall pine trees.  The herbal scent was very pleasant.

I found this Peak Challenge hike to Mt. Pinos is the easiest of the rest of the Peak Challenges I have done.  The trails are very wide and have no ledges or cliffs.  Children and dogs can easily do this Peak hike.
