This hike was soooooooo fun! This is the second hike of my 6 peak challenge and so far it is my favorite.  We started bright and early and saw the sunset in the parking lot. From there we moved on and attacked the first park of the hike.  However, when  we came up to the fire break, we turned left up to the view point and then went back and up the firebreak for a “challenge.” We had our map but we thought it would be fun to go up the firebreak. Bad idea! It was so steep we couldn't move up.  We got back to the regular trial and continued.  The fun really began when we got to the rocks. I felt like Spider-Man! Jumping from rock to rock, maneuvering my way  from boulder to boulder. I did stab my hand on one of the spikey plants and needed first aid, but then I was good.  At the summit my group and I celebrated and then we hiked back down and my hike was done! Fun day fun hike!
