We got to the trailhead parking lot at 545am and it was already almost full. I think it’s because this trailhead leads to multiple peaks!

Right at the start of the hike, it was scenic, shaded with trees and the runes and random houses were interesting! However, not scenic enough to distract you from the fact that you were already climbing a steady incline! The trail is easy to follow, but this hike is definitely not for super novices… not to mention the never ending switchbacks!!! Sometimes you had to go through a path of really loose rocks that seemed really unsteady.

when you do take the time to rest, catch your breath, or contemplate why you did this… the views are really amazing. Tree lined mountain sides, frosted bushes and the occasional flower blooms.

I really wish it wasn’t so cloudy when we got to the top because the view was non existent!!! it was still nice to have reached the peak though… but since there wasn’t an amazing view to reward ourselves, we were pretty defeated on the trek down!

all in all, challenging hike!
