It was great beautiful views of the cinder cones and lava fields on the way up, the trail is an access road for the look out so it is wide and maintained. The views at the top were better than Humphrey’s in my opinion. You could see into the inner basin and a stunning view of both Humphrey and Kendrick mountains. BUT it is a good hike up, just a constant grind once you hit a mile in, it took me a total of 3.5 hours with my rest at the top chatting with the lookout.
