Hot, Hot, Hot day for hiking.  Took longer than I thought it would, for some reason the higher altitude made my super light wt trail running shoes turn into 10lb concrete blocks.  Got a late start at 8:00 am and parking lot was pretty empty. (Probably because of the hot weather.)  Super nice people on the trail throughout the day.  I lost my favorite pair of Maui Jim sunglasses on the way up and asked some trial peeps coming down if they happen to find them to put them In an obvious spot so I could pick them up on the way down.  Sure enough they did!! and several other people heading down didn't even steal them!!!  Super happy I got them back!  Thank you!!  We had an awesome long day on SG and look forward to doing it again, next time faster tho,  moving time was 9hr 51 min. way too long.  Prepping for Whitney in Oct so will def tackle this one a few more times before we go! One more thing,  cudos to the 73 year old we met on the trail who does this hike every week.  It's not easy.
