It was lovely starting out from the reservation campground where I stayed the previous night. The weather was perfect for this hike, with only the tiniest bit of persistent snow at the very top of the peak, off trail. We were able to make quick time of the hike and enjoyed using the extra time up at the top, where a neat rope had been tied to help hikers get up top of the granite.
