Actually, the lift wasn't running, but we passed the upper lift building near the end of the moderately strenuous hike. Bachelor isn't the prettiest of the hikes, but it was a great workout, and the views from the top were well worth the hike up the mountain. We hiked with a larger group who connected through the Bend Hiking Meetup, and having the opportunity to meet new folks made the hike very enjoyable.
