This was my first hike post Covid-19 illness. My family and I were fortunate we only had mild symptoms, but after a 14 day quarantine we were excited to get outside and exercise. We started before seven because I'm not crazy about the crowds on Camelback and the parking can be an issue. This hike is popular so expect it to be busy all day. It is one of the best people watching hikes in Phoenix. We passed a man hiking barefoot. It's as much climbing as it is hiking so wear good shoes.
