COVID/Social Distancing Hike #1

Trailhead:

Azalea Glen Loop

Type of Hike:

Day hike

Trail Conditions:

Trail in good condition

ROAD:

Road suitable for all vehicles

Bugs:

Bugs were not too bad

Snow:

Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

Not a bad hike if you don't make numerous wrong turns and double back on yourself! Definitely use Gaia GPS or All Trails Maps to navigate the maze of trails!  Lookout Road said it was closed due to maintenance, but there was no one working so we took it down from the summit.  The Conejos Trail was pleasant to walk along and it would go from being a full on stream to snow covered except for the last 1.5 miles which was completely covered in snow.  We probably post-holed up to 8 in at the most but the snow was melting fast, so I don't anticipate there being much left after a few warm days.
