Once again, we ventured away from home due to Covid-19 trail closures. That's okay. We celebrated crossing the finish line of the Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge with a stay in Julian.

Hiked with my wonderful husband Scott and kindred spirit Samantha, as well as, Samantha's husband Bob.

Compared to other hikes, this was a walk in the park. Seriously, non-strenuous, pleasant, and beautiful. Lots of variety in vegetation from a field of oats to Cedar trees to a grove of Oaks.

The trail is super well maintained and pleasant. On a clear day, I believe you can see both the ocean and Salton Sea. It wasn't quite like that on the day we hiked but still beautiful and a great way to finish the peak challenge. Definitely want to return in the spring when there are flowers.

A good time was had by all!
