The original plan was to do Mt Baldy on Saturday and this hike on Sunday. However, once we finished Mt Baldy relatively quickly, and knowing we've got Mt Whitney coming up in June, we opted to complete this one following right after. Ended up clocking 23 miles and 7500+ elevation gain, but we had a great beautiful day with some cloud cover which made it nice. It was a little windy at the top. We pulled out our trekking poles halfway up Cucamonga just to save our legs a bit. A wonderful day !
