Got an early start to beat the heat. Omg does it make a difference being midweek! We’ve been at icehouse the last few Saturdays and the parking lot is always packed, so it was very exciting to arrive with only a few cars and not have to walk the extra mile on the road!
I decided that I definitely prefer Ontario. The trail from the saddle out to Cucamonga is a lot of scree and between that and icehouse my joints are definitely hurting from the impact. The peak itself is lovely and large so that was nice.
not a huge amount of bugs but there were some annoying gnats in the canyon!
