Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

This is a familiar trail and fun to do. Love the water and interesting rocks at the beginning. We could see the ocean from the top; it was a perfect day for a hike.  We did use our Yaktrax (micro spikes) past the saddle as there was snow and ice on the trail.
