Trail in good condition

ROAD:

Road suitable for all vehicles

Bugs:

Bugs were not too bad

Snow:

Snow free

Things that I didn't expect:

  • Last part of the trail is straight up, basically no switchbacks
  • Its breezy on the top
  • There are parts that descend when you want to ascend
  • Parking lot was super crowded

Things that I enjoyed:

  • Cooling off in the river
  • The views from the top are the best
  • Taking our time to actually enjoy the hike rather than speeding through
