After summitting Ontario Peak, my partner and I went for Cucamonga Peak. Some parts of the trail was tricky if you don't pay attention and can easily get lost. It feels more exposed and the trail was narrow and really close to the edge of the side of the mountains. There was a lot of loose rocks, gravel and switchbacks. Thank goodness the winds were still blowing. The last stretch did feel challenging but it was worth it once we got to the top. It is a great idea to have trekking poles because heading back down was slippery and there were a few times I tripped or slightly twisted my foot. Felt like a hiking marathon after concurring two peaks in one day.
