Video of the hike.

Overall, trail was in great condition.  Rocky in a few locations, but didn't need to scramble.  All the snow is gone.  It was around 80 in LA in the afternoon, but the mountains was a bit chilly in the 60's with about a 20 mph wind.  I was in shorts and tshirt, and could have used a light sweater.  In the afternoon it started to get a bit warmer.  No bugs at all on the trail.

Water was running at the spring at 2 1/2 mile.  Was a cool enough day that I went through less than a liter of water.

Parking.  Sunrise was 5:45 AM, got there at 5:15 AM and the main parking lot was almost filled.  So get there early if you are doing a morning hike.
