I love Cucamonga Peak so much that I hiked this one twice in 2021. First time was May 15 and second time was June 27, 2021. When I made it to summit in May, all I could see were clouds and it was breath taking. When I climbed Cucamonga again at the end of June, I could see the city and valley below so it was a nice difference to see. Both times the weather was perfect for me. Chilly in am around 60 degrees and by afternoon it would reach high 70’s – low 80’s. The second time we started the hike at 5:00 am and we were finished by 12:00. We had headlamps which made it interesting and fun. The trail is so peaceful and has variation to it from streams to soft dirt and gravel to switchbacks and so much more. My favorite thus far.
