Got an early start at Icehouse Canyon on a beautiful SoCal day . Bugs weren't bad at all near the water but became a nuisance at times further along the trail dive bombing those who dared to venture into their territory. The trail is in great condition until you reach the steep section between the second saddle and the peak where people have eroded small sections of the trail by going straight up/down the mountain, most likely while snow was present. The views from the peak were incredible and it was nice to have the mountain to ourselves!
