Took the Azalea trail to the Conejos trail and then up to the fire road below the peak.  Work in progress today so that is as far as I could go.  Nice hike.  Good to see the new forest growing up among the dead trees.  Butterflies were in abundance today.  Nice break from the biting flies from last week.
