Cuyamaca peak

As we started our journey we got lost to find the actual trail or road for that matter. We scramble here and there till we found the trail. We began our ascend via the paved road. We got to our first part of snow/ice it was mostly ice, spikes recommended. Its a little hard to hike thru ice with a dog pulling you lol. Our first patch of ice wasnt too much of a problem it was once we got more up hill where the ice got worst but we managed. Beautiful trail and views. When we got to the top we passed the peak then went back to the anthena found a little trail and went up there where some cool rocks where there. We sat down took some pictures and drank some water. On our decent it got tricky i decided to get on my butt on some part of the ice mostly cause i thought it would be fun and funny but i didnt move and inch. We keept going till we got a a big spot of ice i decided to skateboard it down well slide down fun until i slipped and i almost ate it. At one part of the ice I did fell bad on my back my elbow got most of the fall fun times. Overall we loved the hike would do it again. We got to the car and off we went to the next adventure. Cuyamaca peak we will be back ????
