Beautiful and peaceful day hike. Arrived as parking lot opened and there were already several cars. Luckily they were all over at Stonewall Peak across the road, so we pretty much had Cuyamaca Peak to ourselves. We started at Paso Picacho Campground, hit the summit for a break and photos, and then headed back on the Conejos Trail. It was beautiful, lots of wildflowers and so green! Some trails were closed due to a controlled fire burn, but we were able to work around them.
