Started off at Paso Picacho Camp ground, was a bit worried with how busy it was. Apparently there was a running event happening on other trails so we decided on lookout road. Other than a herd of SDSU students coming down it was pretty quiet and only saw a handful of other hikers.
Overall great hike and amazing views. Look out is paved the whole was so feels more like a good cardio hike with exquisite views.
once you get above 4000 feet the fresh pine and cedar is intoxicating.
