Trail is very clean & well maintained. Very steep, but worth the climb! Beautiful panoramic views from the ocean to the desert. So many beautiful amazing trees probably hundreds of years old! The trailhead however was very confusing to find. Lol took a little hike before the hike just trying to find it since the gps will just take you to Paso Picacho Campground parking lot and not actually to the trailhead. You're going to want to park at Paso Picacho Campgrounds, then walk out to the street and to the right to get to Lookout Road.
