We ended up taking the fire road up, rather than the Azalea Glen loop, which was a mistake. It was a fairly steep incline the entire way up. After we made it to the top, the views were absolutely beautiful. We had a little trouble finding the sign, but did eventually find it. I would love to do this hike again through the scenic route.
