Hiked Mount Baldy for the first time ever. It was challenging but so worth it once you at the top. Weather was not bad when we started around 6:30 am. Parking lots was not packed …Yet. We started at Manker flats and headed towards the devils back bone. The hike up was doable. However, going the back way down Baldys bowl trail was rough. Although we “cut”miles and time, the super steep rocky terrain served no justice to my knees and legs. If you are not used to this type of hiking ( me) it will feel like an eternity to get back. Overall, the hike was amazing!
