Dinosaur Experiences Snow

Trailhead:

Icehouse Canyon

Trail Conditions:

ROAD:

Bugs:

Snow:

This one felt easier than it did a year and a half ago. I think part of it was the temperature being cooler. Starting off was pretty chilly, but warmed up quickly and shed the jacket within a mile. I wasn't prepared for the amount of snow/ice that was on the trail, but was able to do just fine without crampons, which I really wish I had brought. I was expecting more of patchy snow and just a little at the top. It was the first time that I brought my dinosaur along in the snow and was able to take a picture of him and the monkey my hiking buddy carries. Overall I enjoyed the hike and loved the cooler weather.
