OK…Baldy lived up to its reputation. It's a tough M**********R. It definitely humbled me a bit. Thinking I was 100% physically prepared for this peak. I was probably 80% because I was coming out of cold I had a few days ago, hiking up 10,000+ feet with inflammation in your chest makes it more challenging. But I've persevered, kept pushing and made it to the top. After a little break we hiked over to West Baldy…because it wasn't receiving enough attention…so we kept it companies for about 20 minutes then we left headed towards the notch. There we treated ourselves tacos, turkey sandwich's and some brew. Almost two hours later we headed down Bentley's dream to complete the circuit and check out Baldy falls before we headed home.
Overall, another magnificent hike. Got 3 Giants (Baldy, Ontario, Cucamonga) down and 3 (San Bernardino, San Gorgonio, San Jacinto) more to go. As far as the big 6.
