Snow ConditionsSnowfields to cross - could be difficult
Trail ConditionsMinor obstacles posing few problems

This was opt in hike/climb for the 2021 challenge.

It was ridiculously cold (for April 22nd) and it was snowing the entire hike. The mountain had received 2 inches the night before which made for some slick conditions in places. Shoe-chains or micro spikes would have helped , especially the top part of the trail.

I started on Bellows South to Thunderbolt to Bellows Pipe back to the top of Thunderbolt.

I will be looking forward to the other hikes with warmer weather.

Due to lack of visibility at summit, and lack of rock outcrops this hike rates as my least favorite. I partially hike for the geology of the hikes.
