Trio of San Diego peaks in a single day:
1. El Cajon Mountain
2. Mount Woodon
3. Volcan Mountain
Took about 1 hour to drive from Ramona to Julian. The weather in Julian was quite cool and windy when we got there. Nice hike up to an overlook just below the summit with a view scope and placard showing mountains in the distance. Several other placards throughout the hike. Made it up to the top and took a short trail down to a hand carved memorial bench. Looped around the top to find a benchmark and headed back down. Back down to the car then stopped for local pizza and apple pie. Fun hiking day!
