This NorCal guy ain't used to starting a hike in the 30's – it was _cold_ in the morning.
We went up probably the steepest way possible ( save Prospectors Gap, which we descended on ) and encountered zero hikers on the way up.
Once to the summit, the views were beautiful on the mostly clear day.
