A fantastic, butt kicking hike!  Started at manker flats and took the ski hut trail.  4000 ft climb up!!!    It’s a heavy breather.  I was worried about the exposure on the Devils Backbone….it was lovely!    I’m a chicken about heights.  It wasn’t an issue.   I had an excellent partner that persuaded me that I could do it

12 mile loop.  5 hours.   Cold beer at Mt Baldy inn at the finish
