Loved Fremont Saddle! The toughest part is towards the end when you hit the switchbacks and gain the most altitude. So worth it when you reach the top and see Weaver’s needle front and center!

The last 4.5 miles to the trailhead was dirt road but was smooth with no bumps and few rocks, so any car should be fine.

I hadn’t planned to finish this one so late (end of April) but glad it worked out that way so I could see the wildflowers blooming! They were gorgeous!

    1. Thank you!! The best part was finding out about really cool hikes that I didn’t know about! Quartz was really neat and Wasson was my favorite- both were completely new to me prior to this challenge. I hope that future challenges keep including different locations to explore!
