ROAD:

Bugs:

Bugs were not too bad

Snow:

Snow free

I pretty much just went straight up the mountain instead of staying on the trail. It definitely would've been a lot easier to stay on the trail. Got a little confused with the trail markers so I ended up scrambling up the entire front of the mountain. I followed the trail on the way down though and it was a lot easier. Duh! The sun stayed behind the clouds until the last thirty minutes of the hike so it stayed relatively cool. With all of the rocky terrain it's definitely easy to get off the trail a bit but also easy to find it again. This was my first peak since moving here and overall it went well but there were some lessons learned. Peak one of the six peak challenge completed!
