Overall great hike—headed out a bit later than normal and still made it to the summit. First time on the summit solo. Ran into a rattlesnake. Perfect reminder to stay alert. Took 3 l water—ran out at the end. Would recommend a few more if you’re able to carry it. Finished the train around 2:00PM and there was little shade most of the way down.
