First peak done!

Mitchell Canyon

Type of Hike:

Day hike

Trail Conditions:

Trail in good condition

ROAD:

Road suitable for all vehicles

Bugs:

Bugs were not too bad

Snow:

Snow free

Whew! First peak done. It was harder than expected, but I think the time change had something to do with it–I was tired. Amazing views, some tough scree on the trails, fog rolled in–bring a windbreak.  Would definitely do it again, but more well-rested. 🙂

    Congratulations and thanks for sharing. I also found Diablo surprisingly challenging but I’m glad you made it okay. No doubt the time change had something to do with it.
