This was my first time doing Sitton Peak and I was very excited! We started at about 7:45am and ended around 12:10pm. Spent a good half hour at the peak taking pictures & eating snacks.
I started out with the beast mode people, but slowed down after 2.5 miles to enjoy the trail and take it all in. I was forewarned about the last steep stretch, so I had my poles with me, which helped. I saw a man in front of me slip down some, but we had a good distance between us, so no incidents. He was ok. Lots of people at the peak so had to move a little past it for note picture taking. I really enjoyed this hike! Happy hiker!
