Hiked Sitton Peak for the first time. It was beautiful. The weather was perfect. It started out a little overcast but the sun came out on the way down the peak, so it wasn't too cold or too warm going up or down the peak.

The trail had a fair amount of signs to guide you in the right direction. The first few miles are a pretty easy hike with gradual inclines. The last .5 mile though is very steep and definitely a leg workout. It is definitely worth it though.

Id suggest going early to avoid running into too much foot traffic as the trail is pretty narrow in certain spots so it was difficult to navigate at times when we were hiking up the mountain and other groups were hiking in the opposite direction as us but on the same trail.

I will definitely do this hike again. There is a candy store at the trail head that has some pretty interesting homemade candy…like jalapeño chocolate that I want to try lol.
