We picked a good day to hike Mt Baldy. Weather was not too hot and there were not too many bugs. And the bathroom at the trailhead was the cleanest one I have come across. It smelled like bleach!

We went up to Ski Hut, then from there hike to the summit. Trails were well maintained, but as we got closer to the top, there appeared to be several trails leading to the summit. When we reached the peak, there were so many people up there! After about an hour at the top, we hiked down Devil's Backbone Trail to Top of the Notch for a drink, then down the fire road back to the trailhead.

This hike has been one of the more challenging hikes I've done, especially the scramble to the top after Ski Hut.
