Relatively short hike at 11.6 miles, but steady climbing. Plenty of water in the lower streams and appreciated the early shade. Warmed up to 80s in afternoon, but tolerable. Flies were annoying, almost got one up my nose! Several areas of scree, few creek crossings, but trail mainly in good condition.
