Opted for a late afternoon/early evening hike up. My primary goal was to actually get on top of the summit block. Standing on the Potato Chip was not something I needed to. I quickly made my way up the service road to the summit. I did continue on to at least take a photo of the Potato Chip. There was one group trying to make their way on to it.

Returning back to the summit, I headed over to the summit block, just east of the towers. I had tried to climb it the last time I was here and failed. A small pile of rocks had been assembled to maybe get just enough of a boast to reach the first indent. Unfortunately, it did not help me. I looked for some additional rocks to add, I just need a few more inches. Finally, I looked at the existing rocks, a realized, one could be turned and it just might give me the height I needed. Carefully, stepping on it, I was able to pull myself up and onto the summit block! I found all three reference marks and the benchmark itself. Enjoyed the views some, then scrambled back down. Unfortunately, I did scrap my arm on the rock. Ouch.

I cruised back to the car, and with that #4 was in the books.
