Hike to the saddle was great. We opted to do a loop by the cliffs, vs out-and-back, and that turned into more of an adventure. The trail behind was hard to find/follow/maintain, so we ended up bushwacking down some pretty rough and steep terrain before finding the actual trail again… fortunately, everyone was in a good mood and took it all in stride. What beautiful country!
