Very frost hike and very chilly day, but I missed out on yesterday’s snow.😕
Hiked the full loop up Mitchell Canyon and down Eagle Peak, with North Peak thrown in for an extra couple miles and few hundred feet. Trail conditions were mostly excellent, even with frost covering sections into the late afternoon! It was a bit muddy on the Eagle Peak trail in spots, especially near the bottom. Rain expected over the next few days, so it’ll likely start getting sloppier.
Did enjoy a nice post Thanksgiving end to my hike as a rather large group of very large turkeys were foraging around me!🦃🦃🦃🦃
