Accent started from Joe Dodge Lodge on Saturday morning bright and early. Was able to beat the bad weather to the summit Saturday with the summit blanketed by the clouds. Wind picked up on descent to Lakes of the Clouds Hut. Enjoyed a wonderful evening with friends during this fundraiser hike for New England Peaks for Prevention advocating breast cancer prevention. The Croo was spectacular with a great turkey dinner. The morning lived up the Mt. Washington reputation, rain and 35 degrees with sustained winds on 30 mph! Weather broke at the bottom of the ravine wall and we were welcomed by the sun upon return to Joe Dodge! What a great hike!
