We got an early start and headed to Sedona. The weather was just cold enough for a long sleeve shirt but still wore hiking shorts. Across the road from the parking lot was the start of the trail head. With my 10 month old on my back in a baby  carrier and my girlfriend Michelle by my side we headed out. A few yards of flat ground then the steep incline had begun. Large steps on and over rocks made of sandstone. It was definitely a challenge for me. Then after miles 2.5 getting to the top was worth the hard work. With rain clouds rolling in we take a break at the top for pictures and something to eat then we headed down. Got down safely and headed back home.
