We had a lovely hike on Mount Greylock, up and down the Gould Trail.  The trail was easy to follow and packed snow which became looser as we ascended.  The top was bitter cold and windy.  This is a beautiful wooded trail with views back over the valley through the trees.  We used hiking poles and microspikes.
