I prefer to do this hike late Spring on a rainy day, today was very dry and super crowded but the weather was nice. For some reason the final scramble seemed much shorter and easier then in the past.
It was a great warm up to get me in the mood for big peaks this year and had me considering a Cleveland NF backpacking trip when I was exploring the surrounding trails.
